2009 Chamber Ball
On January 18, 2009, the Hilton Head Island-Bluffton Chamber of Commerce celebrated an elegant evening at its annual chamber ball on Saturday night. More than 500 people attended the black-tie gala at the Hilton Head Marriott Resort & Spa. The ceremony focused on six deserving award winners and their contributions to the regional community, including:
o Bluffton-Hardeeville Member of the Year: Hank Johnston
o Zonta Woman of the Year: Cinda Seamon
o Alice Glenn Doughtie Good Citizenship Award: David Ames
o Outstanding Organization Award: Alzheimer's Respite and Resource
o Small Business of the Year: ServPro of Beaufort County
o The Sue West Educator of the Year: Anne Eddy
